Wyoming Wall Maps
![]() USGS State of Wyoming Topographic Shaded Relief Wall Map Detailed topographic map employs shaded relief to show the form of the mountains. Flatter areas are emphasized with a green tint. (See above, with detail at right.) Elevation contours are included, with elevations given for important cities. Cities, towns, and smaller communities are marked. County boundaries are marked, and counties are labeled, as are National Parks, Forests, Wildlife Refuges, and other conservation areas. Shows primary and secondary highways, and other principal roads, with Interstate, US, and state highways numbered; also railroads. As you would expect from a topographic map, it also shows lakes, rivers, creeks, and other water features, with many of them labeled. Includes land lines and the UTM grid, and also lines of latitude and longitude at one degree intervals.Yellowstone National Park, primarily in Wyoming, spills over into Idaho and Montana, and those portions which do are shown in the same detail as the rest of the map. Other than that plus state and national boundaries, no detail is shown of neighboring states. Note the publication dates: This is not a map to use for current roads and other features, but is excellent for appreciating the geography of the state.
