USGS Geologic Map of WyomingProduced with the cooperation of the Geological Survey of Wyoming, this wall map is printed on one side only. Different colors, labeled with standard abbreviations, represent different geologic units, as is standard with geologic maps. Also shows major faultlines, watercourses, and elevation contours at 500 foot intervals. Cities, towns, highways and railroads are also marked, as are county boundaries and section lines.
The map sheet is part of a three sheet set. Sheet two, which would define the geologic units, is missing, and is apparently not available any longer from the publisher. You do get sheet three, however, which is printed on a smaller size sheet than the map and which is essentially a bibliography: "Principle Sources of Geologic Data and References Cited".
Scale, 1:500,000 (1 inch = about 7.9 miles). Contour interval = 500 feet. Size: about 50 x 42 inches. Rolled. Paper.
