Detailed travel map printed on two sides. The northern portion of the country is on one side, the southern on the reverse. Finely detailed shaded relief shows the form of the mountains. The map clearly shows different classes of roads, and also shows tunnels, railways, and ferry routes. Point-to-point distances along major and secondary roads are marked in kilometers. Also located are peaks with heights in meters, provincial names and boundaries, national parks, airports, places of interest, hotels, inns, and camping sites. The legend explains symbols in ten languages: Norwegian, German, English, French, Italian, Dutch, Spanish, Czech, Hungarian, and an undetermined language (probably Croatian).A 40 page booklet attached to the card cover contains an index to the hundreds of cities and towns on the map. It also includes multi-color detail maps of Bergen, Hammerfest, Narvik, Oslo, Trondheim, and Stavanger.

A lighter color tint shows the coastal shelf and selected soundings show ocean depths.
Adjacent nations are shown in the same amount of detail. Lines of latitude and longitude are marked at two degree intervals.
