Counties within the state are clearly labeled, and tinted in constrasting colors. All classes of roadways are clearly distinguished, with point to point mileages along major highways and selected important local highways indicated. Also shows parks, campsites, tourist information, points of interest, downhill skiing, wineries, colleges and universities, airports, and passenger rail stations. A mileage table helps you to find the distances between 28 New York and adjacent US and Canadian cities. Durable, laminated road map and guide to New York State, printed on two sides. On one side is the road map of the full state, which, for reasons of efficient use of space, splits off the New York City and Long Island region and shows it in a same scale inset. Because the map is as detailed as larger road maps, the print is smaller and thus requires closer study than most. It shows all classes of highways (with point-to-point distances indicated along major and secondary highways); driving tours, wayside stops, parks, public campsites, ski areas, and more. Five inset maps show the main streets of Rochester, Syracuse, Utica, Binghamton, and the Albany-Schenectady-Troy region.
