Highly detailed map printed on two sides of the Netherlands and adjacent countries. On one side is the northern part of the country, plus adjacent Germany. On the reverse is the southern side, plus adjacent northern Belgium and northwestern Germany. The maps clearly distinguish all classes of roadways, and include everything from multi-lane highways to local roads. They also show interchanges, and facilities available along multi-lane highways, such as gas stations, restaurants, parking, bars, and motels. Point to point distances are indicated along roads in kilometers. (See sample at right.)Also located are airports, castles, ruins, churches, monasteries, lighthouses, windmills, dikes, mines, youth hostels, camping, golf courses, zoos, scenic views, national parks, forests, and much more.
The protective card cover includes a "Distoguide" which consists of a card in a slot with strategically placed holes which enable you to easily calculate the distances between major Dutch and regional cities. A booklet attached to the cover gives you a 21-page index of place names. The legend describes symbols in German, Dutch, French, and English. Images show different edition, but stock available is very similar.
