Detailed road map printed on two sides. One side shows the full state. Roads of all classes are clearly distinguished; point-to-point mileages of major and secondary roads are indicated. Also shows rest areas, state park and national forest campgrounds, information centers, and airports. Counties, cities, and towns are fully indexed. A mileage chart enables you to calculate the road distances between 30 large or important cities within the state. There is also a list of public radio stations, with frequencies, and another list of state welcome centers, with locations.
On the reverse is a travel guide briefly describing points of interest. This side includes nine little maps showing the major streets of Gulfport/Biloxi, Meridian, Tupelo, Vicksburg, Natchez, Hattiesburg, and Jackson, plus the neighboring city of Memphis, Tennessee. A chart shows selected state parks and recreation areas and the activities and facilities available in each.
