Isle Royale National Park

Excellent detailed topographic map of the park encompassing Lake Superior's largest island.  This completely revised edition shows the eastern side of the island on one side of the map, and the western on the reverse.  Shaded relief is employed to supplement the elevation contours revealing the form of the land.  Although the map is not inteneded for navigation, it does show selected soundings offshore.  Marks trails (with point-to-point mileages), portages, ferry routes, docks, campgrounds, food services, sea plane anchorages, shipwrecks, lookout towers, lighthouses, and more.  (See detail at right.)

Information on fishing, boating, wilderness use, camping, regulations, and more is also included.  A chart included enables one to calculate the distances by water between various camps, harbors, islands, coves, bays, and other features.
