Nelles Korea: North and South travel map
Excellent travel map, printed on two sides.  Covers both North and South Korea, plus large portions of adjacent China (large portions of Liaoning and Jilin provinces), the Vladivostok region of Russia, and portions of southern Japan.  Inset shows a street map of central Seoul.  The mountains are depicted with shaded relief, the lowlands emphasized with a green tint (see sample at right).

Areas of special interest to tourists are indicated with symbols.  Distances between road junctions are indicated in kilometers.  Map symbols are explained in English, German, and French.

Travel map printed on one side only, uses graduated color tints to show the major elevation levels of the land.  Detailed are highways, national roads, provincial roads, and railways.  Also shows national and provincial boundaries, provincial and national parks, sea routes, beaches, skiing, tombs of kings, hot springs, waterfalls, battlefields, temples, accommodations, mountain peaks (with elevations in meters), airports, ports, wildlife areas, forests, lighthouses, places of interest, golf courses, and museums.

An inset shows the island of Jeju-Do in more detail.  Another inset shows the streets and facilties of central Seoul.  An index helps you find most of the cities and towns on the map.  Marginal notes describe Buddhist temple life, climate, ginseng in Korea, and transportation.
