Also shown are railways, aqueducts, oil pipelines, airports, seaports, ruins, mosques, churches, panoramic viewpoints, campsites, oases, and more. A comprehensive index helps you locate place names on the map.The legend describes symbols in Hungarian (the language of the cartographer), English, German, and French.

Travel map, printed on one side only, shows Jordan plus also all of Israel and the West Bank, and southern Syria from Damascus south (though fewer cities and towns are shown in Israel and the West Bank, and road numbering and distances are omitted there). Graduated color tints show the major elevation levels of the land. Distinguishes highways, major roads, secondary, and other roads, with road numbering indicated for highways and major roads in Jordan and southern Syria. Point to point distances along these same roads are indicated in kilometers. Also mapped are remote tracks/trails, railways, salt flats, desert, rivers and wadis (washes), parks and preserves; motels, hotels, or resorts; archaeological sites/ruins, beaches, airports, springs, and more. (See sample above right. Note that this sample shows, in part, the same area shown in the sample of the Cartographia Jordan map described above this, and there are notable discrepancies between them! Which is correct, or more correct, I don't know.)An inset map details the streets of Amman, and shows important buildings including museums, mosques, churches, hospitals, accomodations, government buildings, and more. An index to place names is also included.
