 Hoosier National Forest

Topographic contour map printed on two sides.  This publication is actually a set of eleven maps.  Rather than show the entire Hoosier National Forest at smaller scale, the publisher has selected eleven areas within the forest which have particularly good trails.  (See index map below.)  The largest map shows the Charles C. Deam Wilderness and adjacent lands south and east of Monroe Lake, including Hardin Ridge Recreaton Area.  Smaller maps feature Ogala, Shirley Creek, Youngs Creek, Pioneer Mothers, Lick Creek, Two Lakes, Tipsaw Lake, Hemlock Cliffs, Birdseye, Oriole, Saddle Lake, Morgan Ridge, and German Ridge trails.

Details include roads, trails (with hiking, equestrian, and multi-use trails distinguished), campgrounds, ranger stations, primitive campgrounds, picnic areas, horse camps, water, swimming areas, boat ramps and more.  Private lands within the National Forest are indicated with a brown tint, the extent of woodlands with a green tint.

Supplementary features include a trail chart keyed to the maps, and special information on the Wilderness Area.
