Detailed road and travel map of the North Atlantic island nation.  The map is printed on one side of the sheet, and uses a generalized shaded relief to indicate mountains (see sample at right).  Shows roads of all classes, cities and towns of all sizes, ferries. filling stations, farms, hotels, campsites, tourist huts, fishing lodges, emergency shelters, lighthouses, churches, museums, hot springs, volcanoes, lava beds, and much more.  An inset gives a street map of the central area of Reykjavik.  The reverse side of the sheet is given to a comprehensive index of place names.  The legend explains symbols in Icelandic, English, German, French, and Swedish.

Detailed and precisely drawn wall map, printed on one side only.  Shows the Scandinavian nations of Denmark, Norway, Sweden, and Finland, with Iceland in an inset.  Other insets show Denmark's Faroe Islands and Norway's Jan Mayen.  Also shows all of Estonia, Latvia, and Lithuania.  Each country is outlined in distinctive colors.  Shaded relief shows the form of the mountains, with selected peaks marked.  Shows hundreds of cities and towns, plus important roads, ferry lines, airports; National Parks and Nature Parks, and hundreds of lakes, rivers, and glaciers, among other things.  A lighter color tint shows the coastal shelf and selected soundings show ocean depths.

Adjacent nations are shown in the same amount of detail.  Lines of latitude and longitude are marked at two degree intervals.
