Fredonia, Arizona 1:100,000 scale topo map
BLM Fredonia, Arizona, Surface Management StatusPrinted on one side only, the map employs elevation contours to show the form of the land. Distinctive colors show "surface management status"—the agencies which have responsibility for managing the land. A green tint shows National Forests, yellow for BLM, orange for Indian lands, blue for state lands, and purple for National Park Service. Marks rivers, streams, creeks, washes, springs, and lakes. Township and section lines are marked. Roads of all classes are depicted (with US and state highways, and BLM, Forest Service, and county roads numbered), and shows some trails, with the Arizona Trail specially highlighted. Also shows "historic trails"—the routes of explorers and pioneers which do not necessarily coincide with modern roads and trails. Shows major power lines, windmills, and campgrounds. (See sample below.)

The only towns and communities depicted are Colorado City, Fredonia, Moccasin, Jacob Lake, and House Rock.State highway 389, US 89A, and state 67 are the important roadways shown. About 40% of the area is in Mohave County, the rest in Coconino.
