USGS State of Florida Satellite and Topographic Wall Maps, two-sided
With this wall map, you get two maps for the price of one, since unlike most wall maps, it is printed on two sides.  A standard topographic map is on one side; on the reverse is a mosaic of satellite imagery of the state.  (See above.)

The topographic map shows elevation contours for the land and bathymetric contours to reveal the form of the seabed.  Cities, towns, and smaller communities are marked, with special symbols distinguishing the capital and county seats.  County boundaries are clearly marked, and counties are labeled.  Shows primary and secondary highways, and other principal roads, with Interstate, US, and state highways numbered.  National Parks, National Forests, National Seashores, National Wildlife Refuges, State Parks, State Forests, and military reservations, are also distinctly marked.  As you would expect from a topographic map, it also shows lakes, marshes, swamps, rivers, creeks, and other water features, with many of them labeled.  The whole map is marked not only with latitude and longitude lines at 1 degree intervals, but also the UTM grid.  (See sample at right.)

On the reverse side, the satellite image map is a mosaic of numerous high-resolution satellite photos.  It employs false-color imagery to better distinguish different kinds of land use and water features.  No place names are provided on the map, so as not to cover the imagery, but there is a reduced version of the image in the corner, which locates several important places and also serves as a key to when the images used to make the mosaic were acquired (some areas were photographed almost six years before the most recent images).  The legend correlates the wave bands of light captured in the satellite imagery with the colors representing them on the printed sheet; it then correlates the colors to typical features.  For example, black relates to "deep, clear water; ocean" while green and blue-green shows swamps, and red and orange indicates growing crops and deciduous trees.  As with the topo map, the satellite map also shows the lat/long and UTM grids, though very subtly printed where it crosses the imagery.  (See sample at left.)

Scale, 1:750,000 (1 inch = about 11.8 miles).  Contour interval: 50 feet.  Bathymetric contour interval: 10 meters to 200 meters depth, 50 meters for deeper areas.  Size: about 42 inches wide x 42 inches high.  Rolled.  Glossy paper.
