Nelles Dominican Republic/Haiti travel map
Map of the island of Hispaniola.  One side shows Haiti, the reverse side shows the Domincan Republic.  Mountains are depicted in exquisite shaded relief, with lowlands emphasized in green.  The map clearly depicts roads; distances between major points in kilometers are indicated; symbols designate sites of particular interest to visitors.  (See sample at right.)

Insets show street maps of Puerto Plata, Santiago de los Caballeros, and Santo Domingo in the Dominican Republic; and Port-au-Prince, Haiti.  The legend is in English, German, and French.  

Scale:  1:600,000 (1 inch = about 9.5 miles); scale of insets ranges from 1:12,500 to 1:35,000.  Size:  About 31 x 20 inches.  Folded, with card cover.
