Contact Information Email is generally the best way, especially if you have a question which requires some thought, such as when you are seeking advice on a recommendation for an item when you don't have a particular one in mind. Also, I read and respond to email after hours; I do not usually answer the phone after closing. So if you have just noticed you need to change your shipping address, email me immediately with the correct address. Otherwise, your package may be in the mail with the old address before I am next open and available to answer the phone. The only problem with email communication is that you have to be able to receive my reply. If you have strict spam settings on your computer, it won't get through. Does that mean I'm a spammer? No! That means, like everyone who has their email address published on the web, my email address has been forged into the "from" position by commercial spammers and virus writers. Email programs with spam filters typically have an "Allowed List" where you can type in the email addresses you want to allow. Be sure to add mine: Phone me at 928-634-8328 or toll-free within the US only at 800-742-0556. Please call during open hours only, generally 9 am - 6 pm Mountain Standard Time, six days per week (closed Wednesdays). See the Time Zone page for these hours translated into your time zone. See the Home Page for any current exceptions to the preceding hours such as holiday closures or extended holiday hours. Note that most Saturday afternoons I go out for about 30-45 minutes to mail customer packages, so if you get the answering machine when I otherwise should be open, that is probably why. Fax me at 928-634-8320. Be sure to include a return fax number if you want a reply! Write me at:
Requesting a printed catalog of the products on the website? I don't have one! It is not economical for this very small business since I don't have the volume needed to keep printing costs low. And I think there is something nefarious about buying mailing lists and sending out large quantities of unsolicited catalogs even if I could afford to. Have your own products you think I should stock? Read this page before you do: Vendor Queries Note that the website you are now viewing this screen on is indeed Mindbird Maps & Books and not the website of the numerous publishers and manufacturers of the products I sell. Due to apparent unfamiliarity with the workings of search engines and the world wide web, I have had people call or email me thinking that they were contacting Rand McNally, Hubbard Scientific, Replogle, Rite in the Rain, Alexandria Drafting Company, DeLorme, Five Star Maps, National Geographic Maps, and probably some other vendors I have forgotten. Just as your typical steel and stucco retail store sells products from many different manufacturers and suppliers, so too do most retail websites like this one sell products from many different sources.
