Cameron 100K
Cameron, Arizona 1:100,000 scale topo map

USGS Cameron, Arizona metric topographic series
Printed on one side only, the map employs elevation contours to show the form of the land.  A solid green tint shows the extent of woodlands.  Other color tints show lava fields.  Shows rivers, streams, creeks, washes, springs, wells and tanks (stock ponds).  Township and section lines are marked.  Roads of all classes are depicted (but only US and state highways are numbered).  Shows major power lines, mine shafts, mines and quarries, and gravel pits; windmills and more.  (See sample below.)

The only communities on the map in this sparsely populated area are Cameron, Gray Mountain, and Goldtooth.  A small edge of Grand Canyon National Park around Grandview Point is in the upper left corner; much of the left third of the map includes parts of Kaibab and Coconino national forests.  All but the southernmost edge of Wupatki National Monument is in the lower cetner of the map.  The eastern two-thirds of the map are dominated by the Navajo Reservation.  The major highways on the map are US 189, US 89, and state 64.

The most important physical features on the map are the Coconino Rim, Coconino Plateau, Little Colorado River and its Gorge, Ward Terrace, Adeii Eechii Cliffs, Tohnali Mesa, and Moenkopi Plateau.

Scale, 1:100,000 (1 inch = about 1.6 miles).  Contour interval = 50 meters.  Size: about 43 x 23½ inches.  Folded.  Paper.
