Atascosa Mts., Arizona 1:100,000 scale map

BLM Atascosa Mts., Arizona, metric map
Printed on one side only, this map shows only a piece of southern Arizona.  Lands within Mexico make up over 80% of the quadrangle—but the Mexican side of the border is blank.  Surface management status—which government agencies manage which parcels of land—is indicated by color tints.  Most of what is shown of Arizona is within Coronado National Forest.  State lands are tinted blue, private lands are untinted.
Unlike other maps in this series, this quadrangle does not depict elevation contours or any other means of visualizing the form of the land.  It does mark creeks, canyons, springs, mountains, and other physical features.  US and state highways are numbered.

Important features and localities marked include the community of Sasabe, San Luis Mountains, Coches Ridge, Tres Bellotas Canyon, Cobre Ridge, Mule Ridge, the community of Ruby, Bear Valley, Gooding Research Natural Area, Atascosa Mountains, Pajarito Mountains, and Calabasas Canyon.  Most of the Arizona lands are within Santa Cruz County, with a small portion within Pima County.

Unlike most other maps in the series, this map does not have a special cover design, and is folded in a larger format.

Scale, 1:100,000 (1 inch = about 1.6 miles).  No contours.  Size: about 48 x 28½ inches.  Folded.  Paper.
