Hawai'i Regional Raised Relief Maps

The scale of these vinyl regional raised relief maps is 1:250,000, which is approximately four miles to the inch. The topography has two to one vertical exageration—which means the mountains are represented as twice as high proportionately as they are in real life. All include topographic contours at 200 foot intervals. They are quite detailed and show such features as cities and towns, roads, railroads, airports and landing strips, woodlands, orchards, reefs, water features and more. The index below shows the coverage of the Hawaii regional series. These maps are based on the latest USGS maps—and as such, they are quite dated (the publication dates are noted just above the prices). You buy these for the topography, not for current roads and current park boundaries! All are published by Hubbard Scientific.
