 Hubbard Scientific Arizona Raven-style raised relief map
This alternative to the preceding Arizona map uses the colorful base map of Raven Maps & Images emphasizing elevations rather than natural appearance. Dark green marks the lowest elevations, progressing upwards with lighter green tints, then to cream and yellow tints for mid-elevations, rusty orange and brown for the higher elevations, and grey and white for the tallest mountain peaks. This map does not show nearly as many geographical names as the Arizona Satellite map below: only major rivers and mountain ranges are labelled, though it does seem to show all towns, and they are printed in easier to read type than on the Arizona Satellite map.
Scale: 1:1,100,000 (1 inch = about 18 miles). Size: about 23½ x 30 inches.

 Hubbard Scientific Arizona Satellite raised relief map
This map emphasizes the Grand Canyon State's natural coloration based on satellite imagery, with the dark green of the forests (no, Arizona is not all desert!) clearly shown in contrast to the sparsely vegetated plains and valleys. There is a tremendous amount of detail in place names as well, so much that people who have trouble reading fine print will need to use a magnifier to read all of them. To orient you more readily, though, the map maker has printed the names of about two dozen of the largest cities and parks in large boldface type.
Scale: about 1:1,000,000 (1 inch = about 16 miles). Size: about 24 x 28 inches.
